Demi. I've changed my mind. If I die, you do not get to make the ashes into a cake. [...there's a soft sigh, and a rustle and a click of what should be the professor turning off the voice setting on his comm. ...it... doesn't work. There is a click as he sets it aside, then footsteps as he paces about a bit, then--] So. You're finally going to take care of yourself, are you...? Nf. And I'm in a wretched mood for it, I'll have you know. And you never stop being wretched, yourself, you impossible man. MifuneLee. I'm really not... ...listen. I... I've been thinking a great deal, lately, and I-- Thinking. Oh of course you were, you stupid man, all you ever do is think when you should be taking care of yourself! Look you-- are not like your students, alright? You can't survive off of ramen and whatever sorts of caffeine they utilize to keep awake day in and day out-- -- I-- Lee, I mean to take care of it, I just wanted to speak with yo-- Oh. Oh don't you even!-- mean to take care, sure, but like hell you ever do! I've been verynice about not lecturing you, but after being a teacher so long you apparently still need a bit of teaching, yourself-- damn everything you know we're different, and I thought you were doing better! Still haven't learned a thing you damn ma-- mm!! [...there was definitely a squeak, there. It lingers into silence and a softsound that... could almost be the parting of lips.] ... ...I am going to go take care of things, now. [footsteps. And then, very high and flurried] ...y-you... H-HEY yougetback here! D-damn it Ca-- you stupid man how dare you! Don't you walk away you-- don't get to just-- kissmeand-- YOU--! [A pause as you can hear the door close. ...and, finally, a slightly manic and almost happy little giggle] ...you bastard~ |

That is it. Students, I am giving you the stretch-and-conditioning session of your life come Friday. That way I shall feel better, inside, about giving you next Monday as a study (and recovery) day. |

Students. I have not assigned any homework, please do not do any and have a wonderful next two weeks very far away from me. I am going to go sleep for the next four days and put off eating as long as I can, so happy holidays and a peachy new year ahead of time, in case I miss it. Wonderful. |

[recording starts with a muffled sound, as if the comm got put into a bag and then was turned on when the whole thing was tossed. Laughter comes across clearly with... two distinctly familiar voices. A sigh, closer than the other breathless, chuckling tone. ] --really, it was great fun. Thank you. For what, now, you silly man? That was all ridiculous~ What? I haven't gone dancing with a partner in a long while, t'was an enjoyable evening! Ohsure. And an utter failure~ [a giggle, accompanied by a soft whump that likely equates the vampiress flopping on the couch with the instructor. There's a slight miff from the teacher, himself, before he inquires in a voice slightly less laughter-tinged] Failure, Mifune Lee? Yes, you nincompoop~! We were looking to get you on a date, remember? And there you just clung to me all evening and, really-- ... ....I was on a date, Lee. [a long silence.] ...don't say that. But-- I just had a date. With y-- Don't. Please. ...Lee. What... happened, all that time ago? ...you never gave me an answer. I took it as a no. ...You never asked me a question, s'daw. ... [an even longer silence that ends with a soft rustle of fabric - couch and clothing alike, probably - before the recording times out.] |

Commander Zed or another superior. Please inform me if it would be preferable to turn over my duties at the end of this current term, or if I best keep on with the full semester. As soon as I am aware which date would be best for the administration to amply find a suitable replacement, I shall be turning in my resignation notice. |

This is probably the last thing I should be inquiring of as we start the new school year, but. Does anyone remember how many years I have been hammering curriculum into the minds of willing students, and does anyone have a clue if said number of years should be customary, ideal, or reasonable when considering resignation? |

Kokueimai, I have been informed that you are the source I should be contacting concerning any choice of clubs or raves that are of recommended attendance. Needless to say, I would adore speaking with you as soon as possible on this matter. Regards, Your Teacher. |

( Accidental... ) Wonderfully convenient. Good evening, everyone~ I certainly hope you are not all mad enough to be up at this hour, as I seem to be, but I speak to inform simply that grades are in – have been for a bit, actually – and paperwork is done. Things are sorted, next year is all set out for you… … Needless to say, I am forever open to any questions students may have. Be forewarned, however, that I shall in my free time be prancing about and catching as much sunlight as possible without getting sunstroke~ Best of regards, looking forward to next year - after the summer, of course~ [the grin plays softly about his features, but is nothing short of utterly and completely self-satisfied. He gives another little shoulder sway to Sinatra, knocking hair halfway into his face, before with a grand gesture he switches the recording off.] ((...after forever and ever, SAY HI TO THE TEACHER WHO JUST FINISHED HIS PAPERS AND EVERYTHING 8D;; Y-yes, my excuse really is THAT lame. |D *dies* ;; <3] |

Firstly, could someone please explain why a certain old friend of mine has ceased to pester about my nonexistant love-life and now spends her days in a frantic yet floating state where she smiles, sighs, and panics about her ability to steep jasmine green? Secondly, for my students; I gave you a rather substantial homework load a week or two back which I shall be returning to you tomorrow. Revised answers on missed problems are welcome if you want to earn some points back on your work. Please remember to hand in you revised copy with your old work as well, and to write an explanation of how you properly work through the problem. Corrections will be due the week that we return from break. That said, have a wonderful week off, everyone. Make sure to sleep. |

Hmm. Looks like I only picked up the residue that time. Came and went in a span of eight hours. Lovely. Let's try for that from now on. Gods above know it was going to be difficult to teach with my balance offset by breasts. Especially if they lasted as blasted long as that 'why paint cats' shear managed to. Digressing. In case any of you were wondering and/or affected by this recent shear activity, allow me to announce that your gender has no effect on class schedules. I expect my students to show up without fail, regardless of any recently altered chromosomes. ((OOC: ...link isn't actually there, except for muns who are probably wondering what in the world Macbeth's talking about, and in case any of you want to remember a few years back when Macbeth was going around with a butterfly painted on his face. lD <3)) |

Again, I would like students to please note the altering of the schedule; your physics mid-chapter test is on Wednesday of next week. Despite originally being set for Monday, I would rather you all get ahead on your homework assignments over this weekend. Tuesday, as you know, was meant to be a rest day... I think, however, that it would better serve as additional time for study. After said test, your homework load will be notably lighter for the rest of next wee-- Nneh--? ...nnh... n'ib Ra, Mifune Lee, stop that poking thisinstant-- Then do me a favor and take a moment away from your communicator and cook something. Wha... Cook? Me? Have you gone mad, woman, you despise curry-- Not for me, idiot~ ...whatever are you implying wi--? Honestly, you only got more difficult since you up and disappeared on me. Well, 'Macbeth', if you can't eat and grade your papers at the same time... Mifune Lee-- Do I have to go and cook something for you? Heavens above know, if I went ahead and distracted you and now you need make up the grading you've gotten behind on, you could have said something earlier and taken care of yourself, wouldn't have to suffer through my own cooking because you know I still wouldn't touch garam masala to save my soul-- Lee. [pause, followed by a chuckle.] You know how obsessive I am, Mifune Lee. [another pause, followed by a fond little giggle.] ...eat, you crazy man. Momentarily, you inane woman. [a chuckle, then a clearing of throat.] Wellthen. Ah... yes, pushing the schedule around a bit. Make sure to get work done over this weekend, and even with the extra time, please do not forget to study. Just keep holding out, everyone; the first part of March will ease up if we manage to finish this chapter ahead of time. [another stunned sound, then a feminine giggle as the instructor is, again, poked. A pause, then a squeak from the higher-pitched voice.] [end recording] ((OOC: ...yes, they're being stupid and immature at each other with pokeage. Like little kids or brother and sister or something. This IS AMAZINGLY not a romantic-sounding post, guys~ <3)) |

If students will please note that the calendar has been altered slightly so that this Monday the 16th of February is a day that I am giving you to study. Please make good use of it. I will likely be in the arena to answer any questions. I apologize for the short notice, both for this announcement and my absence on Friday. As much as I despise actually taking holidays, I daresay you will have a teacher come Tuesday that will actually remember to bring his roster. ((OOC: Poor bugger had his 'off premises' day on Valentine's. Quick warning, he's bound to be sardonic in his humor for a while. lD;; <3)) |

If I could have the attention of the pondering applicants thus-far and any who might take interest; The deadline for the Recruit application has been moved to Tuesday, December 16th. Papers should be submitted at the soonest possible opportunity so that the prerequisite exams can be carried out. Lists should be updated by the 19th, and the introductory lecture for the new recruits will be held on the 20th. Next semester commences January 4th. Any inquiries are more than welcome, and in fact, are appreciated. I want your questions answered as much as you do, if not more so. If any ambiguities or concerns can be attended to, it saves us both time. And I, for one, would love to have a roster that I don't need to scribble all over the first week of classes. That said, I give my regards and look forward to seeing the new faces. Cheers. |
